Today and Last Night…

yeah so that was weird, but fun. here’s what happened. you know the whole T Swift cover i did, right? well we all know she liked it and Twittered about it awhile back. she called me last week and wanted to know if she could do my version of her song, and would i come play it with her. i said “yes”. i then said, “only if i can play my banjolin”. she said “yes”. it was a date. then i go to rehearsals and Stevie Nicks walks up to me and says “hi”. i say, “holy shit”. we rehearse a bit, and then do it again at the Staples Center. i figured there was no way i was gonna get any camera time with Taylor AND Stevie up there, but i blew the camera guy, and he gave me some good angles. all in all, a pretty surreal night. fun to hear my version of it being played and hearing the legendary Waddy Wachtel’s guitar amp blowing up my ears onstage. he is awesome. so i woke up and said, “awesome”. and now i am tired.
