well, last week was a great week in the world of Black Widows. did you know that Black Widows, when put in harms’ way, tend to put out records that debut at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. also, when they are mating, they tend to flock together and go on expeditions called “Tours” (usually migrating initially south to Florida, then north for the spring). the Black Widow is usually scarce though… very reclusive. they are often not found for sale in Record Stores that double as gun shops and grocery stores for junk food. those places rarely sell anything that isn’t selling a million copies. but, because of the “recorded cd” format becoming more and more scarce, they don’t usually stock recordings made by Arachnids or insects. yes, i know… they are LAME. but this is always going to be a problem, the more the CD comes closer to extinction. but now that they see it is “The Year of the Black Widow”, i believe a lot of the big “superstores” will be ordering the record, so maybe check back with them in a week, and if you can’t wait… there is iTunes! they LOVE spiders over there.
let’s talk about spiders and pre-sale concert tickets. Ticketmaster are assholes. they don’t like spiders (or anyone else). they purposely limit venues to only 10% availability to pre-sale tickets, so they can ream your butthole on service charges for the other remaining shitload (remember Pearl Jam?). this presents what is usually known as “quick pre-sale sellout”. don’t think it means the shows are sold out. it means that the remaining tickets will go on sale shortly after, and you will be able to buy some spider tickets (with service charges and other garbage… sorry.. not my fault.. this has been in court ruling for quite sometime). but because most of the shows for the May Headlining tour have all sold out of pre-sale tickets, don’t you worry. we will put them ALL ON SALE shortly, and you will be personally notified by me as to when you can get them. i love you all for being patient. see you soon and just remember….
